Richmond Upon-Thames

Richmond is a Town in South-West London.  West-South-West of Charing Cross. It stands on the River Thames and Features many parks and open spaces including Richmond Park and many protected conversation areas.  There is plenty to see and do, great food on the River Bank from award winning restaurants and bars.  There are plenty of easy access public toilets,  which are well maintained.  Richmond was founded following King HeneryV11's building in the early 16th century of Richmond Palace (so named in 1501). Well worth a day out!

Parliament Hill

Parliament Hill in London,  part of Hampstead Heath,  gained it's name during  the English Cival War when it served as a defensive point for troops loyal to Parliament, and is known for it's stunning views of London.  This part of the Heath as good disabled access  and facilities which are well maintained.  There is a good cafe with reasonable prices.  During the summer months the band stand hosts live music   Some parts are pretty steep so maybe an issue if your in a wheelchair. But there are  great paths around the lower part.  If you have a dog there is a plunge pool  for your dog! There is also a swimming lake for Humans. All in all a great day out! In and Around Regents Park London

The nearest tube is Regents Park which is on the Bakerloo Line. Although there is a lift from the platform there are to large and steep steps to street level.   There are plenty of maps around the park showing were the public toilets are. Bring your Radar key otherwise you will have to pay. Regents Park was designed by John Nash in the early 1800"s, it evolved from a Royal Hunting Ground to a fashionable residential estate and public Park. There are plenty of cafe's but they are over priced so if I was you I would bring a packed lunch. The avenue and public fountain for water which is never on!! You can let your dog of the lead but be careful there are always  push bike's on the paths although they are not allowed.  On the edge of the park is the entrance to London Zoo.
