Parliament Hill

Parliament Hill in London,  part of Hampstead Heath,  gained it's name during  the English Cival War when it served as a defensive point for troops loyal to Parliament, and is known for it's stunning views of London.
This part of the Heath as good disabled access  and facilities which are well maintained.
There is a good cafe with reasonable prices.
During the summer months the band stand hosts live music
Some parts are pretty steep so maybe an issue if your in a wheelchair. But there are  great paths around the lower part.
If you have a dog there is a plunge pool  for your dog!
There is also a swimming lake for Humans.
All in all a great day out!
There is plenty to explore!
Hampstead Heath is on the overground line and has access issues as there is no lift at the train station and there is a flight of stairs to contend with.
Still a good day out!!
